Nancy Howat is a Freelance Medical Writer with a young daughter. Nancy experienced a breast abscess when her daughter was only six weeks old but with help and support from the MOBI group was able to continue breastfeeding throughout her treatment. Following these early breastfeeding difficulties, Nancy recognised how difficult it can sometimes be to find help and information on some of the more extreme breastfeeding difficulties. She then decided to use her skills as a medical writer to volunteer with MOBI Motherhood International in the development of their website. Nancy has a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology (parasitology).
